In the first place I think the biggest one is that Chinese parents held the view that their children should follow their orders absolutely while Western parents pay attention to build up the children's sense of self-determination and the ability of self-thinking. Secondly the Chinese parents think that they know better about their children's needs. What's exactly differs form this the Western parents hope their kids to select their own habits and personalities. Thirdly the Chinese parents set a high standard to their kids and expect their kids would perform better. On the contrary the Western parents are only too care for their kids' feelings and emotions.
Anyway in my opinion I think there's no best way to teach our children we should pick up the good sorts of the Chinese parents' views and the Western parents' opinions of education. Only in this way can we develop a better and smarter next-generation.

There are people who believe that some numbers bring good luck, while others bring bad luck. For instance, in China the number eight is thought to be lucky. Turning our attention to the West, we find that the number seven is considered lucky, but the number 13 is avoided like the plague.
In spite of all these claims, most people would agree that there is little evidence that numbers have any influence on our lives. In fact, they say, the reverse seems to be the case. For one thing, we might expect calculators to break down every time they note the number 13, and for another, although every week has seven days we know that not every week is lucky for us.
Weighing the pros and cons of these arguments, I am inclined to agree with the latter point of view. It is obvious that there is no scientific basis for the belief that there is a connection between luck and numbers. All in all, it seems to me to be superstition.

Last Children’s day, I had lots of fun. I played my two favorite games. The first game that I played was word guessing. The other one I played was a kind of race, but I don’t know what that race is called. I won two prizes, one is a puzzle, and one is a bouncy ball.
After playing all those fun games, I made paper stars. We had lunch and a nap.
After nap time, we had a birthday party. We ate a birthday cake, fruits ,orange juice, chips, ice-cream, candies ,cookies, and lots of food. It was a really fun day.
At dinner time, I ate my favorite kind of noodles. After dinner time, we all watched lot of shows. My favorite show is the magic show, because the magician broke the banana and everyone laughed.
It was the best Children’s Day I had at school. I wonder what I will do for next Children’s Day. I hope to have lots of fun.
