我们小学三年级的时候就开始学英语了，不知为什么，我对英语很不感兴趣，这次期末考试更是考了个一团槽，幸亏妈妈把我对英语的兴趣及时培养了起来。
放暑假时，妈妈自告奋勇地当起了我的英语老师。她给我买了一台学习机和学英语的光碟，我们每天都抽出大约一小时的`时间来学习英语。妈妈告诉我，学习英语交不难，只要掌握了方法，就会觉得很有趣。通过学习，我觉得妈妈说的很有道理，比如卷笔刀这个单词，英语是sharpener，共有9个字母组成，死记硬背是肯定不行的，即使背掉了过几天也会忘掉，如果你知道哪个字母或哪几个字母发什么音，就一定不会忘掉了。掌握了方法，一个单词几秒种就能背掉。有一天晚上，我一口气背了6个单词呢！就在那天晚上，我第一次觉得学习英语并不是一件很难的事情，我也暗暗下定决心一定要把英语学好。
现在我才明白，学习英语其实也是件很快乐的事情。

Two years ago, I was a very naughty and intractable girl. I hated going to school and doing homework, I hated all the teachers. But then somebody came into my life, Mr. Green, my English teacher. He taught me so patiently and showed me how interesting study was. Now I love study and I am good at English. I can even deliver a speech in English! My parents are so proud of me and I just find out that is so amazing to be a good child. I feel so lucky I met Mr. Green. Thank you.

Last March, my mother told my father and me that my grandfather would come in April. We were very happy because my grandfather was an interesting old man and he had not visited us since he went to Hong Kong. On April 1 my father and I bought a lot of food from the supermarket and bought a big bunch of flowers home. Then we did some cleaning at home. At night when we were waiting for my grandfather, the bell rang and in came my mother. She smiled to us and said "April fools"!

这周，学校举行英语周活动。在老师的推荐下，让我去参加英语歌曲比赛。终于，比赛的日子到了，我走进大礼堂，看见大礼堂里坐着好多人，我的心开始忐忑不安起来，总是想：万一我唱错了怎么办？万一忘记歌词怎么办？万一……比赛开始了，我们班的俞力铭第一个上场，只见他胸有成竹地唱起来，还加了许多活泼的动作，台下的观众都被深深地吸引了。唱完以后，俞力铭看到我害怕的样子，说：“别怕，只要你把下面的观众当成萝卜白菜就可以了。”
该轮到我上台了，我暗暗地为自己“鼓劲”：别慌，我能行，一定能行的'。我挺直了腰杆，大胆地走上台去，为大家唱起了一首《彩虹歌》，随着优美的歌声，我慢慢地忘记了紧张，越来越放松，越唱越好。演唱结束了，台下响起了一阵雷鸣般的掌声，我的心里甜滋滋的。
经过了这次难忘的英语歌曲比赛，使我深深明白了：无论做什么事，实际上都不像我们想象中的那么难，只要对自己充满信心，就一定能成功。

Tigers came from Malaysia.
Penguins came from South America. There are a lot of native animals, anteaters, rattlesnakes, beautiful birds and fish, and so on. I like those native animals best because many of them are our good neighbors.
