The annual Spring Festival came again, and we all went back to my home with grandpa and grandma to have a reunion dinner. Its hot to go back to my hometown for the Spring Festival. Everybody is busy with the couplet, and the relatives and friends send a red bag. Set off firecrackers and take a look at the Spring Festival Gala.
I asked my father why the family had to set off firecrackers. Father said, "before, there was a monster called the year, when the Spring Festival will come out to eat children. A Taoist priest came to a Chuang-tzu, and in order to drive the year away, he put up a firecracker. The result scare the year away. Then the move came down and drove the monster. " I got it when I listened to Dad.

In the evening before the Spring Festival ,families get together and have a big meal.In many places people like to set off firecrackers.Dumplings are the most traditional food.Children like the festival very much ,because they can have delicious food and wear new clothes.They can also get some money from their parents.
This money is given to children for good luck.People put New Year scrolls on the wall for good fortune.The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long.People visit relatives and friends with the words "Have all your wishes".

The day before Spring Festival, all family members have dinner together and stay up late to welcome the Chinese New Year.During Spring Festival, children always feel happy because they will get new clothes and gift money from their parents and grandparents. As for adults,they will get relaxed because it is the time for them to visit their relatives and friends.
