我的课外英文老师叫谢霈晨，平时我们都叫她谢老师。一口流利的'英文说得非常好听，就像百灵鸟在唱歌。谢老师有一双清澈明亮的大眼睛，高高的鼻梁，脸上总是挂着微笑，一头乌黑的长发，显得格外漂亮。
谢老师上课认真，气氛活跃。为了调动同学们学习英文的积极性，在课堂上谢老师总是会搞些小花样。谢老师把同学们分成两个组，进行比赛。用单词说一句话，哪个组说得多，哪个组就获胜。“准备开始！”教室里顿时鸦雀无声，同学们都认真听，生怕自己听错。谢老师读完一个单词，马上就有同学举手。大家都争先恐后地举手回答，争取给自己的组加分……有的同学回答得特别好，谢老师就让同学们鼓掌为他加油；有的同学把单词用错句型，谢老师微笑示意他坐下，认真听别的同学回答。最后，谢老师激动的对同学们说：“你们是最棒的！”谢老师的鼓励，激发了同学们学习英文的极大热情。
下课了，谢老师就像我们的大姐姐，和我们聊天。“暑假你去哪里玩了？”“你最喜欢吃什么？”“你是什么星座？”“最近上映什么电影？”……这些都是谢老师和我们聊天的话题。
我喜欢谢老师，她亲切、随和。我一定要把英文学好，以后可以用英文和谢老师聊天。
